Steve Stricker is an amazing putter, which is probably why he was able to bounce back and win the 2006 comeback player of the year award. In fact, in 2007, he was even in contention for the Fedex Cup as he finished second, only behind Tiger Woods.
Believe it or not, Steve Stricker actually carries compasses with him in the practice rounds so he can chart hole directions against the wind. A basic but effect method I’d say. As for other gadgets, he’s said to also carry extra batteries with him just in case his range finder runs out of juice.
