Ever since his 2006 US Open win, Geoff Ogilvy has joined the elite ranks on the PGA Tour. In fact, since that time, he’s been slowly inching up the World Golf Rankings and he’s now (as of February 2009) in the top ten.
Geoff Ogilvy isn’t a long hitter at all, but he’s proven time and time again that distance is not the only thing in golf. Right out of the gate in 2009, he’s already won the Mercedes Benz Championship in Hawaii so this should boost his confidence quite a bit for months to come.
